Cut-A-Thon June 27 in Simi Valley

A very special event is happening this SUNDAY...Ridone Inc is a mobile Beauty Salon that brings hair cuts to people that are physically disabled, elderly or disadvantaged. Ridone Inc has given out 200 vouchers for haircuts and the lucky recipients will be getting hair cuts all day long. We recently added the Ventura County Military Families Support Group to our calendar. They are an Organization formed to help connect Military Friends and Families. They meet every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month at 7pm at For The Troops, 2872 Cochran in Simi Valley.
If you don't know about For The Troops, listen up because it's an amazing Organization...For The Troops' mission is to send care packages to our front line troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. These packages contain such things as snack items, DVDs, CDs, batteries, personal care items and magazines, etc
If you know someone serving our country in Afghanistan or Iraq, For The Troops asks for you to contact them to request a care package with the serving persons name and address. They would love to send them a package.

Brian Stace in Simi Valley June 2nd!

Brian Stace hails from the farming communities of southern Wisconsin. Since he was a teenager, this cowboy was no stranger to a hard day’s work: From milking cows, harvesting tobacco, and picking rocks in the hot summers of Wisconsin to removing asbestos & working construction.
Over the past few years, Stace has toured throughout the US and Canada, playing at several of the top Country Music Festivals. He has opened for Junior Brown, Terry Clark, Shooter Jennings, and Darryl Worley. His music has given him the opportunity to play for the troops on his many tours to Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Germany, and Italy. While touring in Iraq he finished shooting his music video for the single, "Honey Get Your Clothes Off (Daddy’s Comin’ Home)," with the soldiers. His latest radio tour lasted two months, spanned ten states, and covered 10,000 miles. He has also appeared on major television stations throughout the United States, including Tennessee, Wisconsin, Texas, California, and Arkansas.
